HOW COOL IS THAT!
They have done a great job setting up the bar to look a lot like the Bankok Saxaphone Bar. As well they are also running different bands.
Starting at 7 pm with a solo blues act.
The Mojo Man Band, Originals and remakes power trio blues rock band with elements of swamp blues, funk & jazz touch! They are based in Phuket, Thailand.
Here is the Band at the new Saxophone Pub Phuket doing a live cover of “Killing Floor” of the Late Great Howlin Wolf who had Hubert Sumlin on one of the guitars as part of the Wolf Pack back in the day it was recorded at Chess studios in Chicago USA of course with their Mojo Man twist on the song as a 3 piece band.

WHERE IS THE SAXOPHONE PUB YOU ASK?
Saxophone Pub & Restaurant is a recent addition (opened in March 2015) to the bustling dining/nightlife scene of Phuket Town.
Under the same management as the long-established (since 1987) and popular Saxophone Pub in Bangkok,
#1 in our Best Jazz Bars & Pubs in Bangkok, Saxophone Phuket shares its prestigious sister-branch’s cosy vintage-style interior, and a taste for excellence regarding live music performances.
Located in the local nightlife heart of Phuket Town, right next to the Nimit Traffic Circle – commonly known as the ‘seahorses circle’, and Kor Tor Mor Club, Saxophone Pub is mostly a magnet for the young jet set of Phuket. Stylish and cool, it is definitely a recommendable place to spend a good time with friends while sipping a few drinks, eating decent Thai and international food, and listening to good music.
Get ready to be mesmerised by the sumptuous settings of Saxophone Pub & Restaurant in Phuket. The design and decoration of the outlet has not been done by half. The front side of the pub hosts an al fresco terrace and, once you pass the massive wooden doors, you can’t hold back a ‘wow!’: the inside is simply splendid and very spacious.
The large two-storey building is made of red bricks and features large lead pipes, which gives it an industrial touch. Every details have been thoroughly thought out. Music instruments and famous musicians’ portraits adorned the walls of both floors.
The ground floor hosts the stage on which musicians perform from 19:00 until late. Local artists such as The Mojo Man band (who play on Thu, Fri, and Sat nights from 21:00 onwards) perform regularly here and, on occasions, Thai celebrities such as Mr Chai (one of the best blues guitarist in Thailand) take the stage.
The mezzanine-like second floor offers eagle-eye views to the stage, and features a cosy lounge area with sofas. There is also a pool table.
Yo …… there you go, now take action and go check it out and support some Live Blues Music In Thailand and let us know what you think!
